The Ministry of Finance and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia have prepared Instructions for the implementation of the Regulation on fiscal benefits and direct grants to business entities in the private sector, with the aim of easier understanding of the most important provisions of this act.

The Corona virus pandemic has particularly affected micro, small and medium-sized enterprises because sales and operations have been reduced to limited working hours and it is necessary to instruct employees to work from home wherever possible.

• When formulating the measures, we were guided by international experience, i.e. adopted measures in developed economies and neighboring countries.
• Requirements presented in the proposals for measures by numerous associations that bring together businessmen were considered.

On the proposal of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs, the Government of the Republic of Serbia concluded that the decisions to give consent for sending employees on paid leave for more than 45 working days are issued without prior submission of the employers' request for opinion to the representative trade union of the branch or activity established at the level of the Republic, with the validity period until the end of the state of emergency at the latest.

Minister of Finance Siniša Mali and President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadež presented a package of economic measures to mitigate the consequences of the COVID 19 pandemic on the economy, worth 5.1 billion euros, at the Palace of Serbia.

All users of loans who are in regular repayment and whose annuities are due in 2020, and who do NOT WANT TO USE the suspension of due obligations, are informed that they must submit a statement about the regular calculation of annuities to the email: moratorijum@fondzarazvoj.rs, no later than 15.04.2020. year.

Employers whose employees perform work tasks in the period from 17:00 to 05:00, and have consent that they are exempted from the Order on the prohibition and restriction of movement of persons in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, are obliged to issue each employee with a corresponding CERTIFICATE, announced the Ministry of Economy.

Government of the Republic of Serbia, bearing in mind the large number of calls and proposals for the delivery of humanitarian aid and for the sending of various donations for the fight against COVID-19, has opened a special email and telephone numbers intended for all questions and proposals about donations.
