Twenty-seven partners from eight European countries have teamed up to create a new thematic cultural route based on Roman cultural heritage and the revival of ancient goods and traditions. Regional Agency for Development and European Integration (RAREI) Belgrade is one of them and as a partner implements the ISTER project in Serbia through the Intereg Danube Transnational Program (DTP).

Get to know the Roman cultural heritage of the Danube region with the help of digital, interactive tools created within the international project ISTER!
On Tuesday, December 27, 2022, near the banks of the Danube, in the Nebojšina Tower on Kalemegdan, the conference "VIA ISTER - Roads of the Romans along the Danube" was held, organized by the ISTER project and the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade.
The international ISTER project and its activities are approaching their official end, so we are slowly summarizing the achieved results, but also defining future plans for the further development and improvement of the VIA ISTER route - Roman Roads along the Danube, as well as digital visual tools for its presentation: Virtual ISTER GIS Atlas - a free, online database that provides a geographical representation of Roman cultural heritage of the Danube region, as well as the VIA ISTER digital interactive tool which enables easy exploration of the new VIA ISTER cultural route.

On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, the final online event of the international project ISTER was held! Over 80 participants from different countries of the Danube area took part.
ISTER project and experiences during implementation were presented during the training "Cultural and natural heritage as a resource for sustainable tourism" realized within the project PRONACUL, on December 7, 2022 in Kopaonik, organized by the municipality of Raška and the Center for Urban Development from Belgrade.
