Conference on the topic of women's entrepreneurship organized by Municipality of Cukarica entitled "Overcome obstacles to their own business."

The goal of counseling is to enable women from Cukarica that are interested in starting a business to share experiences and gain new knowledge about starting their own business.

Assistant Mayor of Belgrade Borko Milosavljevic presented in the City Hall, project to improve energy efficiency in seven Belgrade Public companies "LEEN City of Belgrade", which will be implemented with the support of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and regional representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany (Baden Wuerttemberg).

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications refers Public call to interested businesses in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) for filing a request for allocation of credit resources, start-ups and innovative loans, defined by the budget of the Republic of Serbia for the year 2016.

Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA) informs all users that from the March 1, 2016, will start to apply the new Rules on the allocation of the tax identification number of legal entities, entrepreneurs and other entities.

Secretariat for the Economy of the City of Belgrade in cooperation with members of the Employment Council of Belgrade, the National Employment Service, Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Agency for Development and Integration Belgrade, Tourist Organization of Belgrade and Kolarac Foundation, is organizing the First Belgrade Women's Entrepreneurship Fair on 15 March 2016, held at the Kolarac Foundation, Studentski trg br. 5, from 10 to 20 hours. In the 18 hours it is planned a concert for all visitors and participants of the Fair at the Kolarac Music Gallery .

Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Economy, with the participation of many partners, have launched a major national project “Year of Entrepreneurship 2016″ which was presented on 01 March 2016, in office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce.

SMEs are the main driver of the economy of a country. For this reason, since 2010 in Serbia runs mentoring program for this type of company, that included 523 users across Serbia, to the beginning of last year. Mentoring support in 2015 received 98 beneficiaries (87 companies and 11 clusters). The program is implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia (former National Agency for Regional Development) in cooperation with the Government of Japan through Japanske International Cooperation Agency - JICA. Accordingly, on February 24 in Belgrade were declared the best mentors in 2015.

In accordance with the adopted Action Plan for Employment of City of Belgrade for 2016, the Council for Employment implemented in cooperation with the National Employment Service, Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration of Belgrade, City Center for Social Entrepreneurship Belgrade, Fund for development, the Agency for export insurance and financing of Serbia, education through organized workshop to as many interested citizens provide free elementary knowledge on the subject of starting a own business.

Improving employment in Belgrade through an approach based on the specific needs of citizens is the basis of the Action Plan for Employment of the city of Belgrade in 2016.
