10 MILLION DINARS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ARRA AND LGUs

Public call for participation in the Program for the Improvement of Cooperation and Capacity Building at the Regional and Local Level.

In order to improve economic and regional development, and through the strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation and the capacity of accredited regional development agencies and local self-government units, the Development Agency of Serbia has issued a Public Call for participation in the Program for the Improvement of Cooperation and Capacity Building at the Regional and Local Level.

The total budget is provided within the program of ten million dinars, while the Program is open until the funds are used up.

The right to participate in the Program and use grants has accredited regional development agencies (ARRA), local self-government units (LGUs), as partners. RAS will co-finance projects up to 50 percent of the justification of project costs, i.e. in the maximum amount of up to two million dinars per project.

The support is implemented as co-financing of part of the justified costs of projects aimed at:

  • promotion of the importance of regional development and subjects of regional development, as well as the importance of joining the EU, knowledge of available funds and priority projects for financing;
  • networking of partners on bilateral, multilateral, at the regional and local level through the improvement and strengthening of inter-institutional cooperation;
  • improving the capacity of regional development entities in the areas of: management of development projects, attraction of direct investments and export promotion; access and withdrawal of funds from various funding sources (EU and other funds);
  • support for encouraging more even regional development through the implementation of inter-institutional activities and the creation of support mechanisms for MSMEs and entrepreneurs (through the collection of data on the needs of the economy, data processing and analysis), i.e. the stimulation of business association into clusters and industrial clusters in priority sectors: the machinery and equipment industry, the food industry, the wood and furniture industry, and the rubber and plastic industry.
