Ljiljana Marković and Sonja Manojlović, members of the project team [[nt]]WOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs[[/nt]], participated on September 24, 2026, in a [[nt]]capacity-building[[/nt]] workshop “[[nt]]Strengthening Serbian Innovation Intermediaries for Interregional Collaboration[[/nt]]”, held at Ložionica – [[nt]]Innovation Hub[[/nt]] in Belgrade.
The event was organized by the [[nt]]Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform[[/nt]] in cooperation with the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, with the aim of strengthening the capacity of innovation intermediaries in Serbia for interregional collaboration and more active involvement in European initiatives.
During the workshop, opportunities for identifying and accessing European interregional initiatives were presented, including [[nt]]S3 Partnerships, Interreg, ECCP, and Horizon Europe[[/nt]], as well as practical approaches to mobilizing, engaging, and coordinating local stakeholders through thematic working groups.
The program covered topics related to the role of innovation intermediaries in regional development, the importance of smart specialization for innovation and interregional collaboration, the development of Serbia's innovation ecosystem, leadership and change agents, and methods for engaging local stakeholders.
