The project WOMEX (The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs) was presented to representatives of the City Administration and City Municipalities of Belgrade at a presentation organized by the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade on October 24, 2025.
The WOMEX project aims to contribute change business cultures in European regions, so that competitiveness and sustainable growth of exporting small and medium-sized enterprises cannot be seen separately from equal opportunities for the women who work in them or lead them.
A special focus is placed on the development of policies, tools and mechanisms that allow women better access to finance, education and digital technologies, which strengthens their role in the international competitiveness and sustainable growth of the company.
The WOMEX project is implemented within the Interreg Europe program, and RAREI Belgrade participates as a partner.
