
The first online FAO/EBRD event this year, organized in cooperation with the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS), will gather analysts, representatives of academic and business support organizations, as well as representatives of sector associations and large companies in the field of export and marketing of fruits and vegetables to foreign markets
If you are a producer or exporter in the fruit and vegetable sector, or participate in the work of business and export support organizations in this sector, do not don't miss the webinar "Export of fruits and vegetables from the Western Balkans - Perspectives, trends and challenges in 2024", which will be held on February 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., on the Zoom platform.
Within the planned panels, the results of the latest studies on value chains will be presented to the attendees, as well as a discussion on support system for fruit export from the region. The discussion will continue in the direction of reviewing the achieved results of the sector in the previous year, but also analysis of market opportunities for further development, trends and challenges for producers and exporters of fruits and vegetables in 2024.
After the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and initiate a discussion with the speakers on all issues related to potential, trends, potential limitations for the further growth of the sector, but also the expected movements on the world fruit and vegetable market.
The webinar is organized within the framework of the project of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) entitled "Support for the diversification of exports of the agricultural and food sector of the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe", which is aimed at providing support to domestic companies in accessing new markets and strengthening the competitiveness of the agricultural and food sector.
