At the 56th session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, a decree was adopted on establishing the Program for Encouraging Entrepreneurship through Development Projects in 2023.
According to the Law on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2023, funds in the amount of 1,982,499,000 dinars have been allocated for the implementation of the project Support for the Development of Entrepreneurship, of which 900,000,000 dinars are intended for implementation. Entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium-sized businesses and cooperatives that are registered with the Agency for Economic Registers and have official financial reports for the previous two years in which they have not reported net loss.
Also, at the session of the Government, a decree was adopted on the establishment of a Program to encourage the development of entrepreneurship through financial support for business beginners and young people in 2023, for which 300,000,000 dinars have been allocated.
The goal of the program is to encourage the development of entrepreneurship and sustainable economic development, i.e. to increase the number of economic entities, support beginners to start independent businesses, support for young entrepreneurs and encouragement of employment.
The funds allocated by the Program are intended for financial support to newly established entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses that have been registered in the Agency for Business Registers for the earliest two years in relation to the year of application submission, as well as for newly established entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses, which have been registered in the Agency for Business Registers for the earliest five years in relation to the year of application submission, and whose founder and legal representative is a natural person up to 35 years.
Public invitations will be announced in June.
