The public invitation to participate in the upcoming International General Trade Fair "TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FAIR 2023" is open until Friday, October 20
The Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia are organizing the performance of Serbian businessmen within the national stand of Serbia at the upcoming International General Trade Fair "TIRANA INTERNATIONAL FAIR 2023" which is being held in Tirana, Albania, in in the period from December 6 to 9, 2023.
The International Trade Fair in Tirana is the most important fair manifestation in Albania in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors. At the fair held in 2022, 240 exhibitors presented their offers, while more than 12,000 visitors visited the fair. Since this fair is general in profile, it traditionally presents the products of the agricultural and food industry, the metal and construction industry, the textile and furniture industry, the automotive industry, high technologies, as well as tourism services.
The market of Albania is increasingly interesting for businessmen from Serbia, who are increasingly cooperating with Albanian partners, and there is also a significant number of domestic business entities that plan to establish their representative offices, invest or have already entered this market, either by purchasing or establishing new companies. This is supported by the fact that the foreign trade exchange between Serbia and Albania has had a "double-digit" growth trend for a long time, which continued even during the crisis caused by the corona virus pandemic in 2020.
The regional initiative, "Open Balkans", whose members are Serbia, Albania and North Macedonia, also contributes to faster, simpler and cheaper trade between Serbia and Albania. The application of agreements related to the free movement of goods led to a significant shortening of import-export procedures and accelerated the flow of goods at the border crossings between Serbia and Albania.
The right to participate in this fair within the national stand is for companies and entrepreneurs registered in the Republic of Serbia, who are engaged in the production or processing of goods from economic sectors that can be represented at the fair.
The public call for participation is open until Friday, October 20, 2023, until 4:30 p.m.
