SIAL in Paris is the largest biennial food fair in the world, with more than 7,500 exhibitors and 400,000 products on display. This year, from October 19 to 23, 2024, visitors can look forward to a retrospective of 60 years of innovations and changes that marked the industry
The first edition, held during the International Food Week in 1964, gathered experts and enthusiasts from 26 countries. Today, SIAL attracts exhibitors and visitors from over 200 countries and is a central event that brings together manufacturers, importers, buyers and sellers, media experts and independent associations.
Under the slogan "Own the Change", this year's anniversary edition of SIAL 2024, continues the search for solutions of the future. Inspired by the vision for a sustainable future - through a review of the previous 60 years of development of the food industry, SIAL provides inspiration to the global community again this year, through innovations, new trends and changes in the most dynamic sector, while the focus remains on a sustainable future.
The Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia jointly organize the appearance of domestic companies at this year's edition of SIAL 2024. Within two national stands, companies will have the opportunity to present their products in the hall of finished products, and in the hall of frozen products.
At the previously held fair, within two national stands, 29 of our companies presented their offer. During the five days of the fair, our businessmen had the most meetings with interested partners from the region, the EU, Turkey, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Egypt, as well as Canada and the USA. The successful performance is also confirmed by the fact that the companies agreed to export in the amount of 11 million euros.
