Meeting with partners from Italy

The Regional Agency for Development and European Integration (RAREI) hosted representatives of the Center for Advanced Studies in Tourism and Tourism Promotion (CST) from Italy, Mr. Luigi Tardioli, Mrs. Emanuel Skijafel, Mr. Bjađa Karan from Eastcom Consulting, as well as representatives of the Center for European Policies and Destination Office, Ksenija Simović and Ana Marija Popović from Belgrade.

Nikola Vučeljić and Vasilije Ljubinković discussed the possibilities of cooperation with CST, as well as proposals for partnership on future projects concerning the development of tourism and touristic capacities and offer of Belgrade. The possibility of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation between CST and RAREI, which would define the priorities, goals and principles of future cooperation, was also considered.

Special emphasis was placed on training modules that could be developed and applied to tourism offices in Belgrade, as well as the possibility of expanding cooperation between RAREI and the Destination Office (identifying primary areas for training, such as project management in the tourism sector, the concept of branding and marketing campaigns, etc.)

Biaggio Carrano proposed that RAREI be informed about all potential donations and calls for funding, as well as other opportunities for partnerships with Italian regions, the Government of the Republic of Italy, the public and private sectors.
