The meeting of all Serbian mentors with the aim of improving the mentoring service was organized by the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
This year's meeting was opened by Ana Žegarac, Director of the Department for International Cooperation at the Development Agency of Serbia, and Takashi Kimura, the leader of the group of consultants implementing the project "Establishment and promotion of mentoring services for MSMEs in the Western Balkans, Phase 2, 2017-2020". The theme of this year's gathering was "How to make the mentoring service as practical as possible".
The mentors exchanged experiences from the field and talked about ways and tools for providing services, in order to improve the service to small and medium-sized enterprises, which from this year also receive the service of internationalization - assistance for entering foreign markets.
So far, 58 certified mentors are active in Serbia, of which 20 are involved in activities carried out in the countries of the region (in Montenegro, BiH and Macedonia), where new mentors are trained. In Serbia, 2,600 small and medium-sized enterprises received the mentoring service until this year, of which even 90% of them pointed out that with the help of mentors they improved their business in the form of increased profits or other forms of business improvement. of Japan.
