Representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration paid a one-day study visit to the city of Szeged, organized by the National Agency for Regional Development, in order to learn about the experiences in implementing projects in the field of cross-border cooperation and cohesion funds.
The participants visited the village of Novi Sentivan near Szeged, where the cross-border project of building the bicycle path Szeged/Hungary - Novi Kneževac/Serbia is being implemented. Then, in the building of the City Administration of Szeged, they were presented with a large public transport electrification project financed from EU cohesion funds. The experiences and knowledge gained during the study stay will be extremely useful to RAREI representatives in the preparation and implementation of infrastructure projects on the territory of the City of Belgrade in the coming period.
