The Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) launched the "Create Life" campaign, which includes eight support programs intended for micro, small, medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs.
At the official presentation of the support program in the premises of the RAS, it was said that in 2017 grants will be awarded through co-financing, namely: up to 70% for startups, up to 50% for existing companies and up to 60% for organizations and institutions.
"For the first six programs, intended for beginners in business, improving competitiveness, improving economic development, innovation, entering foreign markets and promoting exports, 435 million dinars have been allocated. Those programs will be available to businessmen from Monday. In addition, in the next two weeks, a mentoring program will be available, for which about 20 million dinars have been allocated, as well as a program to support businessmen who create new jobs, which is implemented according to the Decree on Attracting Investments of the Government of Serbia." pointed out acting RAS director Željko Sertić.
Sertić added that a network of 16 regional development agencies will be of great importance for the implementation of the program throughout Serbia, which will be available to businessmen for more information. A meeting of RAS representatives and a network of 15 accredited regional development agencies (ARRA) was also held, with the aim of presenting the RAS support program in 2017.
State Secretary in the Ministry of Economy, Milun Trivunac, said that the announcement of the program is part of the global plan for the state development of vertical industrial policy. He also added that the state provided funds for numerous programs not only from the budget, but also from international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the German Development Bank KfW.
With the slogan "Create life", RAS tells entrepreneurs that they are the key decision makers in their lives and that by making timely decisions they can create a life of their own accord.
