
BELGRADE, SERBIA - Director of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade (RAREI Belgrade), Snežana Radinović, today officially opened the InnoSchool project's introductory conference.
The InnoSchool project is financed through the Intereg Danube Transnational Program and is implemented in nine countries of the Danube region: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova and Serbia. The focus of the project is the introduction of systemic changes that are necessary to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture and increase the engagement of high school students in the field of social innovation and entrepreneurship.
During her address, Snežana Radinović emphasized the fact that RAREI Belgrade has been the holder and implementer of numerous initiatives aimed at young people in recent years - motivating them to become entrepreneurs and bearers of change in their communities. "We are proud that RAREI Belgrade is a part of the InnoSchool project, which supports and promotes all those values that the city administration recognizes, respects and affirms through its work," said Mrs. Radinović. Representatives of the RAREI Belgrade InnoSchool project team presented the goals of the project and talked about the innovative learning system, the development and piloting of which in secondary schools is an integral part of its implementation in the upcoming period.
During the open discussion, the participants gave positive impressions about the expected impact of the project on the improvement of the educational framework to support the development of entrepreneurship and social innovation in the final years of secondary schools. "The capacities of the young generation are an important resource, and that is why it is important to show trust and support them in the development of entrepreneurial potential, while responding to the key needs of the community and society," Mrs. Radinović told the audience.
The InnoSchool project is being implemented until the end of August 2021 in cooperation with the project's national strategic partner - the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia.
