Representative of the Regional Agency for Economic Development and European Integration Belgrade Branko Radan, member of the [[nt]]CAMPUS[[/nt]] project team, participated in the third project partner meeting for [[nt]]CAMPUS – Digital Campuses for European Resilience[[/nt]], which was held on September 22 and 23, 2026, in Tampere, Finland.
The central theme of the two-day meeting was cybersecurity in the context of regional security and resilience, and the program included interregional experience exchange, the presentation of public policy instruments, an interactive workshop dedicated to best practices, as well as the presentation of the [[nt]]Cyber Maturity Barometer for European Regions[[/nt]] methodology.
As part of the interregional exchange, Branko Radan presented the RAREI Belgrade approach to the topic „[[nt]]Strengthening Local Cybersecurity Policies[[/nt]]“, with an overview of Belgrade's existing capacities and opportunities for further strengthening local cyber resilience. The presentation particularly highlighted the need to connect existing digital infrastructure with cybersecurity management mechanisms, develop appropriate knowledge and skills, and strengthen the resilience of small and medium-sized enterprises.
On the second day of the meeting, partners were introduced to the safety and security ecosystem in Tampere, the activities of the [[nt]]System on Chip Hub[[/nt]] , and the application of generative artificial intelligence in software engineering. A study visit to the [[nt]]Nokia Solutions[[/nt]] and [[nt]]Networks[[/nt]] company in Tampere was also organized, during which the company's local activities, [[nt]]System-on-Chip[[/nt]] solution development, and data center were presented.
The meeting in Tampere was an opportunity to exchange experiences and examples of good practice from partner regions, as well as to consider possibilities for adapting them to the local context. The knowledge and experience gained contribute to the further work of RAREI Belgrade within the [[nt]]CAMPUS[[/nt]] project and the process of considering opportunities for improving policies in the field of digital and cyber resilience.
