Workshop "Information to the goal" for businessmen of the city of Belgrade

The workshop "Information to the goal", intended for businessmen who are already doing business in the territory of the city of Belgrade, will last from June 15 to 18 in the City Administration building on Nikola Pašić Square, it was said at today's press conference in the Old Palace.

Member of the City Council Dragomir Petronijević said that at the workshop, businessmen will be able to receive information about all subsidies, assistance and favorable loans.

- To participate in the workshop, those interested can apply to the "Beokam service" or via online application on the website of the City of Belgrade. Registration is until Sunday, and the workshop starts on Monday at 11 a.m. in the City Administration building on Nikola Pašića Square. It is desirable that up to two representatives of interested companies come to the workshop. We are open to include all their questions, proposals and suggestions in the implementation of the Local Employment Action Plan. We are trying to create a service for citizens and the economy and to create the city's business policy together with them - explained Petronijević and added that more than 30 companies were opened with the help of the "Knowledge to the Goal" workshop.

Secretary for the Economy Tijana Maljković pointed out that the secretariat, as a department in the City of Belgrade for helping businessmen and developing the production of small and medium-sized enterprises, also participates in this project.

- We have already started public calls for agriculture and agriculture. economy. The Directorate of Agriculture has published four public calls, increasing organic production in vegetable and vegetable growing, training for organic production, training and equipment for beekeepers. It is important to help production and strengthen competitiveness. As for small and medium-sized enterprises, we have published a public call related to increasing production, capacity, and employment - specified Tijana Maljković.

Director of the branch for the city of Belgrade of the National Employment Service, Ljubica Đorđević said that on Monday the NES will present the public calls that have been announced. This set of ten programs and measures will cover about 2,500 people, and there are also about 500 people who will be engaged in the public works implementation program. NES initiated the Local Employment Action Plan program in cooperation with the city, where the city participated with 15 million dinars, and the Republic with 5.5 million. With these funds, we will include about 200 more people in professional practice programs, public works programs and practical knowledge acquisition programs - she stated and added that from January to May of this year compared to the same period last year, employment increased by 18 percent.

The conference was also attended by Živojin Stjepić from the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, director of the Belgrade branch of the Fund for the Development of the Republic of Serbia Milan Ljušić and director of the Belgrade Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Snežana Radinović.
