The WOMEX project was promoted during the online training "Export for First-Time Exporters".

The Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade organized an online training session titled "Export for First-Time Exporters" on June 24, 2026. The training was aimed at representatives of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and entrepreneurs who wish to acquire basic knowledge and information necessary for entering international markets.

During the training, participants had the opportunity to learn about the fundamentals of export business, methods for assessing a company's export readiness, target market selection, finding potential buyers and business partners, export procedures and documentation, as well as available support programs for business internationalization.

The project [[nt]] was also presented during the trainingWOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs[[/nt]], which is being implemented within the framework of the [[nt]] programInterreg Europe[[/nt]].

Participants were introduced to the project's main objectives, the project partnership, and activities aimed at improving public policies and support instruments for women in exporting small and medium-sized enterprises.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening knowledge and skills necessary for business internationalization, improving access to business networks and support programs, and creating a more stimulating environment for greater participation of women in export activities and enhancing the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The promotion of the [[nt]]WOMEX[[/nt]] project during the training was an opportunity for participants to further learn about the importance of supporting women's entrepreneurship and the role of women in developing export potential and the competitiveness of the SME sector.
