In order to provide support for the establishment and further development of female entrepreneurship, the Ministry of Economy announced today a public call within the Program to encourage the development of entrepreneurship through financial support for entrepreneurship of women and women of single parents in 2024.
Support represents financial support in the form of grants in the amount of up to 50% of the investment value, i.e. up to 55% investment values for business entities whose founders are women single parents in accordance with the criteria from the Program. The remaining amount of the investment will be financed from the user's own funds or from a loan from the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
For the implementation of this program, the Ministry of Economy has allocated 100 million dinars earmarked for grants.
The funds are intended for the purchase of equipment, means of transport required for the performance of activities, ongoing maintenance and adaptation of business and/or production premises, and 25% of the funds can be used for operational costs.
Amount the total amount of approved funds (grant + credit / own funds) per request cannot be less than 400,000.00 dinars, nor more than 6,000,000.00 dinars.
Women entrepreneurs, who apply for funds under the Program, can contact accredited regional development agencies in order to be provided with free advisory and technical assistance in connection with applying for the Program, while beginners are free training for starting a business is also available (https://preduzetnistvo.gov.rs/mapa/)
The public call is open until funds are used up, and no later than 31.12.2024. year. Interested parties can find all information and necessary documentation on the entrepreneurship portal www.preduzetnistvo.gov.rs, as well as on the website of the Ministry of Economy www.privreda.gov.rs and the Development Fund: www.fondzarazvoj.gov.rs.
