Representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration (RAREI) hosted today a member of the city council from Atlanta, USA, Mr. Kwanzaa Hall. In addition to Mr. Nikola Vučeljić and Mr. Vasilij Ljubinković from the agency, the meeting was attended by Mr. Marko Stojanović, acting the director of the Belgrade Youth Center, Mrs. Stela Petrović from the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and Mrs. Tatjana Antić from the Tourist Organization of Serbia.
The meeting discussed different types and possibilities of cooperation between Atalanta and Belgrade, with an emphasis on the sphere of culture, art, innovation and branding of the city of Belgrade. Mr. Hall advocated a strong partnership between the two cities and proposed several concrete ideas for cooperation, such as the Belgrade-Atlanta airline line, which would be implemented by Air Serbia, student exchanges within college and student programs, study visits by directors of Belgrade companies and city officials to Atlanta, in order to exchange good practices between the two cities, etc.
Mr. Vučeljić welcomed the initiative of the guest from the USA and expressed his belief in successful cooperation in the future between the two cities.
