Representatives of RAREI participated in the meeting "Open days"

Within the largest gathering in the EU dedicated to regional development - Open Days, a large number of thematic workshops are planned that provide insight into the functioning of regional policies in the EU, territorial development, development of local self-governments, etc.

This event gathers over 6,000 participants from all over Europe, and over 200 European cities and regions participate in events within this gathering. During this manifestation, which took place from On October 6-9, 2014 in Brussels, representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration (RAREI) participated in the following workshops and panels:

• Building and increasing the capacity of key actors in European cities

• How technology development projects contribute to the implementation of the Smart Specialization Strategy

• Achieving growth in cities through innovation and social entrepreneurship

• Inclusion of mobile citizens EU: European funds and best practices of cities and regions

• Building a partnership with the aim of supporting SMEs and promoting entrepreneurship

At the aforementioned workshops, RAREI representatives had the opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with colleagues from European cities and regions, in order to improve the functioning of the city/region of Belgrade in the best way with new ideas and proposals in all relevant areas and to use all available funds available to cities and regions.
