The National Project Year of Entrepreneurship 2016 was presented

The Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Economy, with the participation of numerous partners, launched a large national project called "Year of Entrepreneurship 2016", which was presented on March 1, 2016 in the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

The Minister of Economy Željko Sertić said on that occasion that the Government of Serbia deeply believes that the country's economy must be developed so that the focus is on entrepreneurs, and that is why it has allocated support for entrepreneurship 16.06 billion dinars.

"Today we are starting with 33 aid programs, which contain various types of financial and non-financial activities", said Sertić and pointed out that everything is explained in detail on the new portal godinapreduzetnitstva.rs.

President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Marko Čadež assessed that the "Year of Entrepreneurship" represents a huge step towards a new philosophy in which we create, not wait. job.

The presentation of the project was attended by a large number of ambassadors in Serbia, among them the ambassador of Germany Axel Dittman, Italian Giuseppe Manzo, French Christine Moro, as well as representatives of professional associations.

Also, the presentation was attended by: Deputy Prime Minister Zorana Mihajlović, Minister of Agriculture Snežana Bogosavljević-Bošković, Minister of Energy Aleksandar Antic, Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic, Minister of Labour, Employment, Social Affairs and Veterans Affairs Aleksandar Vulin.

The year of entrepreneurship 2016 is a large package of different programs of the state whose goal is to strengthen entrepreneurial forces, help entrepreneurs who are starting a business or have already developed it to a certain level and provide financial and non-financial support for the long-term development of the entrepreneurial spirit.

During 2016, very specific packages of assistance to the private sector based on an entrepreneurial approach will be implemented in parallel, as well as a strategic action to start a wave of the widest social efforts to inaugurate the principle of entrepreneurship as a way of thinking in the economy, education, culture, state policies and all the most important social processes. Hence, three key pillars of the project were defined:

II Direct support to the business sector
III Development of entrepreneurial spirit
