ADRISKY Project Presented to Students and Researchers from Slovenia

In the premises of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade, on June 4, 2026, a presentation of the [[nt]]ADRISKY[[/nt]] project was held – [[nt]]Advancing Light Pollution Mitigation for Biodiversity and Nocturnal Habitats Conservation in the Adriatic-Ionian[[/nt]] Region for students and researchers from the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto (Slovenia). The project is implemented through the Interreg [[nt]]IPA ADRION[[/nt]] program and is aimed at reducing light pollution, protecting biodiversity, and conserving nocturnal habitats in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

The presentation was delivered by Sonja Manojlović, a member of the project team representing the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade, who introduced the participants to the project's objectives, partnership, and activities being implemented to reduce light pollution and protect biodiversity in the Adriatic-Ionian region.

During the presentation, project activities were showcased, including light pollution monitoring, exchange of experiences and best practices among partner organizations, development of common methodologies, and improvement of public policies in the field of sustainable public lighting management and nocturnal environment protection.

The presentation was an opportunity for participants to learn about the importance of international cooperation in addressing environmental challenges and the contribution of European projects to the development of more sustainable and environmentally responsible communities.
