
Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade, in cooperation with the City of Belgrade and the Development Agency of Serbia, organized a conference on the occasion of the start of training for the first export. The trainings are implemented within the project BOOKLET FOR EXPORT, which is implemented by the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration, Belgrade, with the financial support of the Development Agency of Serbia.
The goal of the project is to create conditions for the internationalization of MSME business at the level of the Belgrade region, and the specific goals of the project are to support the improvement of the export performance of MSMEs in the Belgrade region, to provide prerequisites for developing an export strategy and networking MSMEs with relevant institutions.
On behalf of RAREI Belgrade, she addressed the entrepreneurs director Snežana Radinović, who welcomed all participants and attendees, and then pointed out that the project is the result of the strategic determination of the City of Belgrade to provide strong support to the development of the regional economy and increase the export potential of Belgrade businessmen. Project activities will contribute to an increase in the number of companies that export, growth in sales and profits of MSMEs, employment growth, better strategic positioning of MSMEs on the international market, as well as increased competitiveness, pointed out the director of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade.
The entrepreneurs were also addressed by Maja Bajagić, undersecretary of the Secretariat for the Economy of the City of Belgrade, who pointed out that the Secretariat for the Economy, through various programs, provides support to the MSME sector, as and registered agricultural farms. The city of Belgrade, together with the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration "Belgrade", organized the "Knowledge to the Goal" workshops, which encourage employment and self-employment - said Maja Bajagić. Also, according to her, the City of Belgrade has announced two tenders for the development of micro and small entrepreneurship this year, for which 20 million dinars have been earmarked for the purchase of basic equipment or machines, as well as up to a million dinars in non-refundable aid for each entrepreneur, with the condition of employing one person from the list of the National Employment Service, Bajagić said.
