Nominations are open for the selection of "Women Entrepreneur of the Year from the Western Balkans"

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) has announced the start of nominations for the selection of Women Entrepreneurs from the Western Balkans for the year 2023

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), for the third year in a row, invites individuals, representatives of public and private institutions, organizations and everyone interested to nominate their entrepreneur of the year in at least one of the following six categories:

• Woman ecological entrepreneur - from the sector of products or services that reduce environmental damage, use cleaner technologies and an education program for "green" workplaces;
• Woman entrepreneur in the arts - from the sector of art, culture, design, fashion, lifestyle and crafts;
• Woman entrepreneur in the ICT sector - from the sector of information and communication technologies and innovative solutions;
• Young woman entrepreneur - for female entrepreneurs up to 35 years old age;
• Woman entrepreneur in tourism;
• Woman entrepreneur star of social media - who started or developed a business using the power of social networks.

Any woman who is a citizen of one of the economies of the Western Balkans, and who is the owner of a company registered before January 31, 2023, has the right to be nominated.

Nominations are open until February 26, 2024. Following the selection process, the winners will be invited to participate in a formal recognition event.

Women entrepreneurs of the Western Balkans of the year were officially launched in 2022 as a way to recognize women who have started and grown their businesses and contributed to new and sustainable businesses for others in our region. The recognition is organized as part of the Action Plan for the Common Regional Market 2021-2024. and RCC initiatives - Economic Empowerment of Women, financed by the European Union.
