Open workshop "Information to the goal"

The Belgrade Employment Council, whose members include representatives of the National Employment Service, the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the Development Fund, the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration, the City Center for Social Entrepreneurship and the Secretariat for the Economy, organized today the workshop "Information to the goal" for businessmen, which enabled them, in addition to learning about the implementation of public calls for subsidies for business improvement, to learn about the types of loans they can apply for, as well as training and with the services that the mentioned institutions provide to businessmen in order to improve their business.

- The goal is that for the first time the City Administration and the Employment Council, which has not worked for the last eight years, start implementing the Local Action Plan for Employment. We want to create a policy together with businessmen, as we talked with restaurateurs, so we lowered the price of gardens by 50 percent in order to help them employ more people. We will also try to provide all these subsidies that we provide as a City, as well as subsidies provided by the Republic, provided by the National Employment Service, loans provided by the Development Fund, and domestic investors who will create from 50 to 200 jobs, in one place, information on what the state can help them with, and together with them continue the strategy of the City of Belgrade, which is aggressive private sector employment. This is the new way of working of the City Administration and it is already producing results. The previous workshop was called "Knowledge to the goal" in which people who just wanted to open a business and needed information on what to do took part. We already have 30 open companies, we already have new employees. Now, we help businessmen who are already working, who pay taxes, to hire more people, to improve their production, to get grants, and we teach them how to get cheaper working and investment funds. We will educate them on how to apply for foreign funds and funds. That is why this workshop will last four days - said Dragomir Petronijević, member of the City Council and president of the Employment Council of the City of Belgrade.

The Secretariat for the Economy, as a departmental body for the development of agriculture and economy, also actively participates in the workshop "Information to the goal".

- We have provided subsidies and published public calls for subsidies and incentives in agriculture. Also, in entrepreneurship for small and medium enterprises. As for agriculture itself, we have several subsidies - for the expansion of organic production, vegetable growing, training for beekeepers and the purchase of equipment for beekeepers. It is very important for us to send those products, which are produced in the peripheral municipalities of the city, to the central ones, to change the structure of the diet and increase the competitiveness of the production itself. As far as incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises are concerned, we have capacity expansion, along with the employment of unemployed persons, and for the first time this year in July we will announce new subsidies for unemployed persons together with the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veterans and Social Affairs and with the help of the National Employment Service - said Tijana Maljković, Secretary of the Economy. of registered workers, in order to prevent illegal work.

- You who register workers and pay all obligations, it is difficult to stay in production. That is why we made the decision that those who do not register their workers cannot receive public funds. The state offers a whole range of measures, numerous opportunities and resources for those who want to start a business. Everyone should retain a good employee - Vulin pointed out.

During the "Information to the Goal" workshop, presentations and training will be organized, so that as many interested businessmen as possible can get basic information about public calls conducted by various institutions. Businessmen will have the opportunity to learn about the types of loans they can apply for and the training and services they can use to improve their business.
