
A meeting of Serbian project partners for the [[nt]]WOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs[[/nt]]project was held at the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade on June 22, 2026. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade and the Association of Business Women of Serbia, partner organizations from Serbia participating in the project's implementation.
During the meeting, progress on project activities and plans for the upcoming period were discussed. Special attention was given to preparing for the upcoming stakeholder meeting, where the project's results to date will be presented, and additional suggestions and recommendations from relevant actors will be gathered to improve policies supporting women entrepreneurs.
The meeting also included discussions on identifying examples of good practices from Serbia that can be presented within the [[nt]]WOMEX[[/nt]] project, with the aim of promoting successful models for supporting and developing women's entrepreneurship and business internationalization.
Additionally, project partners discussed preparations for the upcoming interregional exchange of experiences [[nt]](4thInterregional Policy Learning Event – 4IPLE)[[/nt]], which will bring together partners from various European regions to share experiences and good practices in supporting women exporters.
The [[nt]]WOMEX[[/nt]] project is being implemented within the [[nt]]Interreg Europe[[/nt]] program with the aim of improving public policies that contribute to strengthening the competitiveness and export potential of women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises through interregional learning and cooperation.
