"INNOSCHOOL DAYS" ONLINE EVENT HELD

BELGRADE, SERBIA - Representatives of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade (RAREI Belgrade) and the InnoSchool project team today held an online event called "InnoSchool days".

The aim of the event was to promote the InnoSchool innovative learning system (ILS) and its elements: serious games and pilot programs, as well as Belgrade high schools participating in the testing of this program during the 2020/2021 school year. ILS is a modern tool for learning about social entrepreneurship and, as such, it will be able to be included in the curricula of secondary schools in Serbia after the completion of the project.

Representatives of the InnoSchool project team talked about the specifics of ILS, the characteristics of the pilot program and its most interesting segment - an online game for learning about social entrepreneurship.
The online game represents a creative approach to learning, the goal of which is to bring high school students closer to social entrepreneurship in a fun way and to show that they too can be an important factor in solving social challenges or problems.

Social entrepreneurship is recognized worldwide for its ability to deal with pressing problems of society while making a positive impact. Education represents the link between these challenges and the potential of young people - future social entrepreneurs. That is why the focus of the InnoSchool project is on them, and the application of ILS learning methods - which result in the development of successful social and business ideas - is being tested for the first time in Serbia by 11 Belgrade secondary schools:
Trade School, Pharmacy-Physiotherapist School, "Sveti Sava" Gymnasium, Fifth Economic School "Rakovica", Technical School, Železnik, Sixth Belgrade Gymnasium, Contemporary Gymnasium, Agricultural and Chemical School, Obrenovac, Gymnasium "Milena Pavlović". Barili" - Antoni Center, Electrotechnical School "Zemun" and GSP Technical School.

The InnoSchool project deals with the need to introduce systemic changes in high school education that are necessary to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture and increase the engagement of young people in the field of social innovation and entrepreneurship. The project is implemented in nine countries of the Danube region: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova and Serbia. In Serbia, it is implemented by the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade (RAREI Belgrade) in cooperation with the project's national strategic partner - the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia as part of the Intereg Danube Transnational Program. l Instagram l Twitter l YouTube
