Published COSME public invitation in the field of tourism

The Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the European Union (EASME) has published a public call within the COSME program - Support for the promotion and development of international thematic tourism products related to cultural and creative industries.

The general objectives of the call are:

• Support for the development of tourism and the sector of cultural and creative industries (CCI sector),
• Stimulating the competitiveness of tourism, as well as innovation, diversification and valorization of European tourism offers,
• Establishing synergy between tourism and the CCI sector
• Creating a favorable framework for cooperation between SMEs
• Strengthening the cooperation of all participants in the tourism value chain
• Establishing a long-term public-private partnership at the European level.

The consortium should consist of a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 partners from at least 4 countries of the COSME program.
Each consortium should include:

• One ​​institution that manages a cultural asset that is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List;
• MMSPP in the field of tourism or CCI
• National or regional public institution

The duration of the project is 15-18 months.
