Notice of publication of a public call for support to the hotel industry due to business difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic

The public call for business entities to apply for the use of subsidies to support the work of the hotel industry due to the difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic comes into force today (September 1) and will last until September 15, 2020.

The right to grants is exercised by categorized hotels that are privately owned from the territory of the local self-government units whose list is attached.

Basic prerequisites for acquiring the right to the use of subsidies is that no bankruptcy proceedings, financial restructuring or liquidation proceedings have been initiated against business entities, and that no procedure for a pre-prepared reorganization plan (UPPR) has been implemented.

Funds are allocated in the amount of 350 euros per individual bed and 150 euros per accommodation unit in dinar equivalent calculated at the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day when the state aid was granted.

Economic entity loses the right to use the subsidy if it reduces the number of employees by more than 10%, in the period from 15.08.2020. year ending with 31.12.2020.
