The new WOMEX newsletter provides an overview of key project activities and results

A new issue of the project newsletter has been published [[nt]]WOMEX – The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs[[/nt]], which is being implemented under the [[nt]]Interreg Europe[[/nt]]program. The newsletter provides an overview of the most important activities and results achieved during the first half of 2026, with a special focus on improving the position of women in export-oriented SMEs, access to finance, the development of female leadership, and the creation of public policies that encourage more equal participation of women in international business.

The newsletter includes:

  • a webinar dedicated to the application of gender criteria in public procurement and grant support programs;
  • conclusions from the [[nt]]Interregional Policy Learning Event[[/nt]] held in Warsaw, dedicated to access to finance for women-owned export businesses;
  • results of regional analyses on the position of women in export-oriented SMEs;
  • conclusions from the [[nt]]Interregional Policy Learning Event[[/nt]] held in Pécs, where common challenges and examples of good practice from partner regions were presented;
  • recommendations for improving public policies aimed at strengthening women's participation in international business;
  • an announcement for the next [[nt]]Interregional Policy Learning Event[[/nt]], which will be held in Bilbao in October 2026.
