
Tomorrow, at 10 a.m., the new tourist signage Welcome and Goodbye Boards will be officially opened at the Sava pier, as well as the boards that will mark the important buildings of the city of Belgrade. A total of 24 boards will be placed in representative locations.
The project is financed and supported by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.
The opening will be attended by Chief Urban Planner Milutin Folić, Secretary of the Secretariat for the Economy Tijana Maljković, Director of the Belgrade Tourism Organization Miodrag Popović, Director of the Regional Development Agency Snežane Radinović and a representative of Belgrade Road.
Belgrade is the most important a domestic tourist destination in which a constant growth rate of tourist traffic and income from tourism is realized. The number of both domestic and foreign tourists is increasing year by year.
It is for this reason that tourist signage is an extremely important element in strengthening tourism, primarily with the aim of creating a unique information system for visitors and tourists, strengthening the identity and recognition of the city of Belgrade as a first-class tourist destination and an attractive tourist destination. That is why this project of installing tourist signage is of particular importance for the city of Belgrade and its guests.
