WOMEX project - the role of women in the competitiveness of exporting SMEs
Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade organizes on 07.08.2025. starting at 11:00 a.m. a meeting with key stakeholders within the framework of the international project WOMEX - The Role of Women in the Competitiveness of Exporting SMEs, which is being realized with the support of the European Union through the Interreg Europe program.
The goal of the project is to contribute to the construction of a business culture in which gender equality and the competitiveness of exporting small businesses through interregional cooperation and the exchange of good practices and medium-sized enterprises are inseparable. A special focus is on supporting women who work or run such enterprises, through the development of policies, tools and mechanisms that improve their access to finance, education and digital technologies.
The meeting aims to present project activities, the role of local and regional actors, as well as to open space for a joint discussion on the improvement of public policies and business practices from the point of view of gender equality.
