The Ministry of Economy announced a public call for the allocation of incentives

The Ministry of Economy has announced a public call for the allocation of incentive funds for direct investments in accordance with the Regulation on conditions and methods of attracting direct investments.

On this occasion, the Minister of Economy Goran Knežević emphasized that the state is increasingly directing its capacities and activities towards the development of domestic entrepreneurship, which usually has less potential than foreign investors, and that the public call was published precisely for this purpose. The idea is to support smaller investment projects, especially those in underdeveloped and devastated areas, in which case incentive funds can be allocated for the realization of projects worth at least 100,000 euros and with the employment of at least 10 new workers.

"We care about domestic investors and through various types of support we want to ensure that their businesses develop even more", said Knežević, emphasizing that it is the private sector - small and medium-sized enterprises - that is the backbone of the economy. development.

The Decree defines that investment projects in the production sector, the service sector that can be subject to international trade, as well as projects in the agriculture and fisheries sector can be supported.
