Within the project "Establishment and promotion of mentoring services for MSMEs in the countries of the Western Balkans, phase 2, 2017-2020" which is being implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a meeting was held in Belgrade where the following were present:
His Excellency the Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Junichi Maruyama, representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, mentors and representatives of regional agencies from Serbia, representatives of partner organizations from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, as well as guests from the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises of Bulgaria.
During the panel discussion, the development of the mentoring service in Serbia was discussed, as well as the transfer of knowledge that mentors from Serbia realized in the countries of the region - Montenegro, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Ljiljana Marković, regional development coordinator of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration Belgrade, presented the mentoring service that RAREI Belgrade implemented for the company Afrodite Mode Collection (AMC) from Belgrade. Branislav Bajić, director of the AMC company, pointed out that the mentoring service is very important for small and medium-sized companies because it encourages owners and management to think in a different way, on the one hand, while on the other hand it contributes to the improvement and development of the company in various segments in the long term.
