
Trag foundation within the "Real say on policy" project is issuing a call for project proposals related to the creation and realization of creative cultural, artistic and/or media content aimed at initiating and opening a public debate on the role and participation of citizens in democratic processes.Cultural, artistic and media content should, in an innovative and engaging way, create opportunities and encourage public dialogue about the necessary political changes in the areas for which they are responsible. citizens showed the most interest during the election (indicative list is further in the Invitation). The proposed content should promote the active involvement of citizens in democratic processes and affirm the role of citizens as key actors in the development of democracy. The "Real say on policy" project is implemented by the Trag Foundation in partnership with the CRTA association, the National Coalition for Decentralization (NKD) and the Slavko Ćuruvi Foundation, with the financial support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). out of a third of the citizens participate in the political life of Serbia, or at least believe in the effectiveness of citizen participation in democratic processes, the Trag Foundation realizes the "Democracy, that's me" contest. The competition's aim is to support initiatives that use cultural, artistic and media content and in an innovative way open a debate in the public about the role and position of citizens in the community, but also in society as a whole. Initiatives should show that they have the potential to attract the attention of the public and indicate the necessary political changes in those areas in which citizens showed the most interest during the election process. An indicative list of areas and issues in which citizens showed the most interest during the election includes: Realization of the right to work;The state - incentive or obstacle to the development of entrepreneurship;Mechanisms of citizens' participation in direct decision-making;The right to objective and timely information;Voting rights of citizens (active and passive);Right to a fair trial;Human rights and civil liberties and civil rights through constitutional reform.- See more at:
