More than 50 interested citizens and existing small and medium-sized enterprises sent a question to the Office for Rapid Information on the Economy, which was opened two weeks ago on the territory of 16 Belgrade municipalities. The most questions were sent to the municipalities of Rakovica and Zemun, followed by Novi Beograd and Palilula.
According to the data, the topics that citizens are most interested in are the issuance of permits, establishment of business entities, legal regulations for existing business entities and tax policy.
Nikola Vučeljić, director of the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration, which is one of the implementers of this concept, says that he is satisfied with the response of citizens.
- This period of time is enough to see that we have implemented a quality concept, which greatly benefits interested citizens and existing small and medium-sized enterprises. They report every day, and of course we invite them to continue to do so. This is also one of the ways to encourage economic growth in Belgrade - says Vučeljić.
Statistics show that so far citizens have received an answer in a little more than one day, even though the deadline for an answer is 72 hours or three working days.
The City of Belgrade, in cooperation with the Regional Agency for Development and European Integration, the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and the city's municipalities, implemented the concept of the Office for Rapid Information on the Economy.
In this office every entrepreneur and everyone interested can get answers about the work of utility companies, the necessary consents, the necessary paperwork for the company's work, in a fast and efficient way. The application was developed by the Institute for Informatics and Statistics of Belgrade.
The city administration invites all interested citizens to contact the Office for Rapid Information on the Economy, so that they can efficiently solve all questions and doubts. They can do this through the portal of the Office for Rapid Information of the Economy portal.beograd.gov.rs, the website of the City of Belgrade or the websites of the city's municipalities. Also, they can personally come to one of the 16 city municipalities.
