The Development Agency of Serbia (hereinafter: RAS) through the Internationalization Support Program for SMEs through individual participation in international fairs abroad, provides institutional support to small and medium-sized enterprises, which are export-oriented and which want to increase the volume of their foreign trade exchange.
CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM
The right to participate and use grants is available to SMEs that meet the following conditions cumulative:
General conditions
1) that the SME's predominant activity is production and processing (fulfillment of this condition is checked based on the activity code under which they are registered in the APR);
2) that it is majority privately owned;
3) that, at the time of submitting the application, it has been registered in the APR of the Republic of Serbia for at least two years;
4) that it conducts business books according to the dual system bookkeeping;
5) that it has settled its obligations based on taxes and contributions;
6) that no previous bankruptcy proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings or liquidation proceedings have been initiated against it;
7) that it is not in difficulties according to the definition contained in the Regulation on the rules for granting state aid;
8) that it has implemented at least one export business in the previous three years.
Specific conditions
1) that the application does not relate to participation in the fair organized by RAS and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia;
2) that the products have the necessary certificates for placement on the desired market;
3) that the proposed project (fair) is in accordance with the activity performed by the applicant;
4) The program can co-finance projects that were started in 2019, and were not implemented until the moment of submission of the application for participation in To the program. By this it is understood that the fair was not held until the moment of submission of the application.
5) in order for the application to be considered, the fair for which the Applicant submits the project must be international in nature, be attended by companies from at least 5 countries and be held abroad. Also, it is necessary for the fair to be held continuously for at least 3 years.
PURPOSE OF GRANT FUNDS
Eligible project activities include:
1. lease of exhibition space;
2. construction of exhibition space;
3. administrative costs (registration fee) and costs of technical services (electricity and water connection, electricity and water consumption, internet);
4. production of promotional material (design and printing).
The applicant may submit one application for participation in the Program within which he can apply for several activities.
The applicant may not apply only for project activities under ordinal numbers 3 and 4.
The cost of production of promotional material may be recognized in the amount of up to 3% of the total value of justified project costs, and in the maximum amount up to 60,000.00 RSD.
AMOUNT OF GRANT FUNDS
Available funds are approved individually to Beneficiaries as co-financing in the amount of up to 40% of justified project costs, excluding VAT.
The maximum amount of approved funds is 1,000,000.00 dinars.
The total budget of the Program is 40,000,000.00 dinars.
The deadline for the completion of contracted activities and realization of payments within the approved project is 9 months from the date of signing the contract with RAS.
Eligible costs are costs for which grants are approved under this project, and which meet the following conditions:
1) that they were incurred during the implementation of the project;
2) that they were specified in the planned project budget;
3) that they are necessary for the implementation of project activities.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR COMPETITION
Documentation that must be submitted when submitting a project proposal:
1) Form 1 - Project application - completed, certified and signed;
2) Form 2 - Statement of the applicant on acceptance of the conditions for the allocation of funds and the allocated state aid of small value (de minimis state aid) - filled out, certified and signed;
3) The Supplier's offer for the proposed project must contain a clearly defined subject and scope of activities, the deadline for implementation and the price of services expressed in dinars and VAT shown. In case the price is expressed in foreign currency, it is converted according to the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day of issuing the offer. All possible later exchange rate differences are borne by the User;
4) Certificate from the competent tax administration that the Applicant has settled all public revenues (taxes and contributions), which must not be issued before the date of publication of the Public Call (original or a certified copy by the competent certification authority);
5) Balance sheet, income statement and statistical report of the applicant for 2018 with a copy of the Certificate of Registration of the regular annual of the financial report for the year 2018 issued by the APR;
If the Applicant did not receive the Certificate of Registration of the regular annual financial report for the year 2018, submit the balance sheet, profit and loss account and statistical report for the year 2018, signed and certified by the person responsible for compiling the financial report and the written statement of the Applicant's legal representative on the authenticity and identity of the copy that was submitted APR on the final processing.
6) A copy of the contract on a concluded foreign trade deal with a foreign buyer or appropriate documentation from which it is unequivocally concluded that the Applicant has carried out export business in the last three years (copy of invoices, customs declaration - "JCI");
7) A copy of the certificate for the product/process.
RAS reserves the right to, if necessary, request additional documentation from the Applicant.
APPLICATION METHOD AND DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS
Applications with all accompanying forms and documentation are submitted in person or by registered mail to ARRA, with the indication: Application for public call for participation under the SME Internationalization Support Program through individual participation at international fairs abroad.

The public call is open until the funds are spent, and no later than September 30, 2019. year.
