PUBLIC CALL FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND SUPPLIERS EXPO 2023 (GACS), STUTTGART, GERMANY

The Development Agency of Serbia (hereinafter: the Agency) organizes the performance of Serbian businessmen within the national stand of Serbia at the international supplier fair "GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND SUPPLIERS EXPO 2023 (GACS)" which will be held in Stuttgart, Germany, from December 5 to 7, 2023."GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND SUPPLIERS EXPO 2023 (GACS)" (www.globalautomotivecomponentsandsuppliersexpo.com) is held every year at the Messe Stuttgart fairground alongside the Automotive Interiors Expo. This event is an opportunity for Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 automotive component manufacturers to showcase the latest technologies and products. Portfolio of exhibited products: rubber, plastic and metal components, hybrid coatings and adhesives, fastening systems, friction products, brake systems, bearings, carbon fiber components, engine and transmission parts, cables and assemblies, lighting, electrical and electronic systems, springs and seals, forged and cast machined parts, subsystems and assemblies, etc.Except. of the exhibition part, meetings and panels are planned to discuss cost reduction within supply chains and how to offer new, alternative, cost-effective solutions for production and supply.In 2022, 60 exhibitors participated in the fair, within the segment where suppliers are presented. The fair is intended for professional visitors, and they are mainly research and development directors and procurement directors from companies such as: VW Group, Daimler, Mercedes Benz, Jaguar Land Rover, Ford Motor company, Hyundai and Toyota, Bosch, Denso and Eberspaecher and others.The costs of renting the space, organizing the installation and equipping the stand are borne by the Agency, while the exhibitors bear the costs of co-payment for the exhibitor's participation in the costs of appearing at the fair within the national stand in the amount of 1,000.00 euros in the dinar equivalent at the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day of issuing the pro-invoice.Exhibitors independently organize and bear the costs of travel, accommodation and transportation of exhibits.The right to participate in this fair as part of the national stand belongs to companies registered in the Republic of Serbia that cumulatively meet the following conditions:that they are registered in the APR, no later than January 1, 2021 year;that they have settled due obligations based on taxes and contributions;that they are engaged in or may be engaged in the production of direct or indirect materials, components, subsystems or systems for products in the automotive industry;that they have implemented an ISO 9001 quality system.As evidence of fulfillment of the conditions the following is submitted:copy of the certificate of the competent authority of the tax administration on the settlement of all due obligations based on taxes and contributions, not older than one month from the date of publication of the Public Call;copy of the valid ISO 9001 quality system certificate.The following additional documentation is attached to the application:evidence of possession of a valid certificate IATF16949 or other industry specific standard relevant to automotive industry - in case the applicant owns (not a requirement for application);Form of balance sheet, income statement and statistical report that form an integral part of the Regular Annual Financial Report for the year 2022, taken from the Special Information System APR, as well as the confirmation of receipt sent by the APR - in case the Regular Annual Financial Reports for the year 2022 have not been published on APR;Reference list/cooperation with customers from the automotive industry sector (signed and certified by the applicant's legal representative) - in free form, this reference list may contain customer/s with whom the applicant has current cooperation and/or cooperation was realized in the previous period - in case the applicant cooperated or is cooperating with customers from the automotive industry sector.Filled in, signed, certified and scanned application as well as evidence of fulfillment of conditions and additional documentation should be submitted to the e-mail address: sajmovi@ras.gov.rs, with the indication "Application for participation in the fair "GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND SUPPLIERS EXPO 2023 (GACS)", Stuttgart, Germany"The deadline for submitting applications is August 31, 2023.In the event that less than 5 applicants apply for the public call, the Agency reserves the right to cancel the performance without any consequences.Participation in the fair can be approved by the Agency for a maximum of 5 applicants, with the possibility of increasing this number in proportion to available capacities organizers of this fair, and according to the ranking list determined by the application methodology from Appendix 1 "Methodology for evaluating and ranking applications for participation in the fair "GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS AND SUPPLIERS EXPO 2023 (GACS)", Stuttgart, Germany", which forms an integral part of this public call.For all necessary information, you can contact the representative of the Development Agency of Serbia - Olja Pavlović, via e-mail: olja.pavlovic@ras.gov.rs or by contacting the phone number: 011/3398-809.
