PUBLIC INVITATION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE CHINA INTERNATIONAL IMPORT EXPO

The Development Agency of Serbia and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia are organizing the appearance of Serbian businessmen within the national stand of Serbia at the upcoming III China International Import Expo "China International Import Expo", which will be held in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, in the period from November 5 to 10, 2020.

The appearance at the international fair allows exhibitors to present their products and market them to new markets, as well as to promote existing and acquire new business contacts.

"China International Import Expo" organized by the Government of the People's Republic of China and the China International Import Expo Bureau (China International Import Expo Bureau) is held in order to encourage the import of foreign goods and services in China, and in accordance with China's efforts to promote globalization and market openness.

This fair is expected to be a platform where participating countries would present their economic potential and get the opportunity to make contacts with the Chinese partners. The participation of representatives of more than 100 countries and regions, as well as 150,000 professional buyers from China and other countries, is expected.

At the "China International Import Expo" Serbia will present itself with a national stand in the hall for the food industry.

The Development Agency of Serbia bears the costs of renting the space and building the stand, while the exhibitors bear the costs of the participation amounting to 1,000 euros (in the dinar equivalent at the middle exchange rate NBS on the day of registration of the bill of exchange in the Register of Bills of Exchange by the exhibitor).

Exhibitors independently organize and bear the costs of travel, accommodation and transportation of exhibits.

The right to participate in the national stand at the fair is granted to companies that meet the following conditions:

1. that they are registered in the Agency for Economic Registers of the Republic of Serbia;

2. that the predominant activity of business entities is production and processing from the activity from which the fair is based, and in the case of large companies that are registered for another activity, that they have a registered branch that deals with production or processing from the activity from which the fair is based;

3. that they have settled all obligations based on taxes and contributions;

4. that no previous bankruptcy proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings or liquidation proceedings have been initiated against them;

5. that they exported their goods to at least one foreign market in the previous year;

6. that they are not in difficulties

Documentation that needs to be submitted:

1) Form 1 - Application (completed, signed and certified);

2) Fulfillment of the activity conditions will be checked based on the activity code under which the business entity is registered in the APR. Exceptionally, in the case that the predominant code of the business entity refers to another activity, and the business entity also performs the activity that is provided as a condition, it is necessary to submit an explanation and evidence for the performance of that activity;

3) Form 2 - Statement that the Applicant is not in difficulties, that no previous bankruptcy proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings or liquidation proceedings have been registered;

4) A certificate from the competent tax administration that the Applicant has settled all public revenues (taxes and contributions), which must not be older than three months from the date of publication of the public invitation (original or photocopy);

5) Bill of exchange with a bill of exchange and a copy of the card of the deposited signatures of the authorized persons of the Applicant, as a means of security, in case non-compliance with contractual obligations is determined. Along with the promissory note, a copy of the Applicant's request for registration of the promissory note in the Register of Promissory Notes and Authorizations of the National Bank of Serbia, certified by the Applicant's commercial bank, as well as a printed form "Results of promissory note search - National Bank of Serbia", from the NBS website. as part of the documentation.

The organizers reserve the right to, if necessary, request additional documentation from the Applicant.

The organizers reserve the right to cancel the organization of a joint performance at the fair in the event of cancellation or postponement of the fair itself or if they assess that there are reasons that endanger the health and safety of the exhibitor.

The application with complete supporting documentation is submitted to the Development Agency of Serbia, within the specified time, at the address sajmovi@ras.gov.rs and Belgrade, Kneza Miloša 12, with an indication for Public invitation to participate in the CIIE international fair.

Only applications with complete documentation, delivered to the above-mentioned address, will be considered valid.

The deadline for submitting an application is June 8, 2020. year

The fulfillment of the conditions and the choice of exhibitors are determined by the organizers in accordance with the Internationalization Program of Business Companies.
