PUBLIC CALL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A FREE STANDARDIZED MENTORING SERVICE

A public call for the implementation of a standardized mentoring service is published in accordance with the Program of the Ministry of Economy - Standardized set of services (SSU) for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2023, which is realized through the Development Agency of Serbia and accredited regional development agencies (ARRA).The mentoring service is intended for micro, small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs and cooperatives, with the aim of providing support for smooth development and reducing the number unsuccessful business entities and cooperatives, through the provision of comprehensive and timely support to users.PUBLIC CALL IS OPEN UNTIL 6/10/2023.The process of mentoring represents professional assistance provided by an expert person - a mentor, over a long period of time to a business entity.Mentors - persons engaged in work in accredited regional development agencies (ARRA), which have a certificate that they have successfully completed training for mentors organized by the National Agency for Regional Development, the Development Agency and/or the Project "Strengthening and further establishment of mentoring services for small and medium-sized enterprises in the countries of the Western Balkans (Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia)" (RAS - JICA) financed by the Government of Japan through the Japan Agency for International Cooperation - JICA.The methodology of the standardized mentoring service clearly defines all steps and activities in the implementation of mentoring (scheme management, work in the field, number of visits, activities within each visit, time allotted for preparing the plan and reporting) through the guides: General guide for mentoring, Guide for mentoring for beginners and Guide for mentoring mature companies.Mentoring consists of the following set of services:Diagnostics to understand the current situation in the business entity, i.e. cooperatives;Help when preparing development activities/plans/projects in order to achieve the goals of a business entity or cooperative;Advice and coordination for access to funds, new technologies, consulting services and others in order to encourage the development and improvement of business;Help in preparing credit applications for banks and support programsHelp in the implementation of development activities/plans/projects;Help in finding business partners;Help in finding the necessary information;Improving productivity - KAIZENSupport in marketing activitiesConsulting;Advice/coaching;Training;Referral to appropriate specialized consultants.Users mentoring can be newly established and existing micro, small and medium-sized companies, entrepreneurs and cooperatives.Depending on the needs and type of user, and in accordance with the standardized RAS and JICA methodology, during the implementation of the Program, the mentor can realize from 25 to 50 hours of free standardized mentoring services.Interested candidates submit applications in three categories:Newly established business entities - no older than 3 years from the date of publication of the Public Call;Existing business entities - registered before September 2020;Cooperatives. CONDITIONAL CONDITIONSThe right to participate in the public call for the provision of mentoring services have:1. Micro, small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs who meet the following conditions:registered on the territory of the Republic of Serbia;have settled obligations based on taxes and contributions;do not perform activities within the military industry and do not organize games of chance/lottery.2. Cooperatives that meet the following conditions:that the activity of the cooperative is production, processing and craft services;have settled obligations based on taxes and contributions;do not perform activities within the military industry and do not organize games of chance/lottery. DURATIONDeadline for completion providing a standardized mentoring service is 31. December 2023. REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION1. For newly established business entities, no older than 3 years from the date of publication of the Public Call:1.1. Form 1 - Completed application; 2.2. Confirmation from the competent Tax Administration that the Applicant has settled all public revenues (taxes and contributions) in the previous year, which must not be issued before the date of publication of the public call, or proof that the Applicant has submitted a Request for the issuance of a Certificate; income (taxes and contributions) in the previous year, which must not be issued before the date of publication of the public call, or proof that the Applicant has submitted a Request for the issuance of a Certificate. business entities registered in 2023 are not obliged to submit.2.
