Public call for the implementation of a standardized mentoring service

The public call for the implementation of a standardized mentoring service is published in accordance with the Program of the Ministry of Economy - Standardized set of services (SSU) for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2017, which is implemented through accredited development agencies (ARRA).

The goal of the program: Providing support for smooth development and reducing the number of unsuccessful economic entities and cooperatives, through providing comprehensive and timely support to users.

Who can apply:

1. Micro, small and medium-sized economic companies and entrepreneurs who meet the following conditions:

registered on the territory of the Republic of Serbia;

have settled obligations based on taxes and contributions;

do not perform activities within the military industry and do not organize games of chance/lottery.

2. Cooperatives that meet the following conditions:

  • that it is oriented towards the support of MMSPP and the founding act clearly defines it;
  • That the activity of the cooperative is production and craft services;
  • They have settled obligations based on taxes and contributions;
  • They do not perform activities within the military industry and do not organize games of chance/lottery.

Interested candidates submit applications in three categories:

  • Newly established business entities - no older than 3 years from the date of publication of the Public Call;
  • Existing business entities - registered before April 2014;
  • Cooperatives.

Purpose of the Program: The mentoring process takes place according to the RAS methodology, developed in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The methodology determines the steps in the process in which the professional mentor-mentor conducts in direct contact and work with the founder and/or responsible person of the business entity, i.e. the management/management of the cooperative, a certain number of hours (from 25 to 50 per user) in the user's premises (not less than 75% of the total number of scheduled hours). The founder and/or person in charge of the business entity and the management/management of the cooperative (that is, the delegated persons of the governing body of the cooperative) and the mentor together study the current business, the reasons for current problems or obstacles for further development, the most important potentials for growth, and based on the ascertained situation, the mentor and the user of the mentoring service prepare a development plan/project. Mentoring consists of the following services:

  • Diagnostics in order to understand the current situation in the business entity or cooperative;
  • Help in preparing development activities/plans/projects in order to reach the goals of the business entity, the cooperative;
  • Counseling and coordination for access to funds, new technologies, consulting services and more in order to encourage development and improvement business;
  • Help in preparing credit applications for banks and support programs for MSMEs and cooperatives;
  • Help in implementing development activities/plans/projects;
  • Help in finding business partners;
  • Help in finding the necessary information;
  • Consulting;
  • Counseling/coaching;
  • Training;
  • Reference to appropriate specialized consultants.

The service refers to free mentoring for micro, small and medium-sized companies, entrepreneurs and cooperatives, which have been in business for up to three years or are at a critical moment for their further development or survival on the market.

Deadline for submitting applications: 45 days from the date of publication.
