Public call for support for citizens to buy bicycles as an environmentally friendly form of transport

The decision on the budget of the city of Belgrade for the year 2022 ("Official Gazette of the City of Belgrade", 120/21 and 18/22"), provided funds for financing, i.e. co-financing projects of public interest, which encourages the achievement of goals in the field of environmental protection, and which are implemented by associations in the territory of the city of Belgrade, and refers to:Implementation of a project to provide support to citizens for the purchase of bicycles as environmentally friendly transportFollowing the public competition announced by the city of Belgrade, the distribution of funds to support citizens for the purchase of bicycles, with a determined individual amount of 5,000.00 dinars each, was entrusted to the Initiative for Sustainable Urban Mobility "Urban.log" from Belgrade.The goal of the Public Call is to provide support to citizens for the purchase of bicycles as an environmentally friendly means of transportation in the territory of the City of Belgrade for the year 2022, with with the intention of increasing the number of cyclists on the streets of the City, and for the purpose of improving air quality and reduction of environmental pollution.The right to participate in the Public Call is for all natural persons of legal age who have a valid identity card with residence in the administrative territory of the City of Belgrade, at the time of submitting the application and who have not previously used the voucher.The individual amount of funds allocated to citizens under this public call to support the purchase of a new bicycle is 5,000.00 dinars.If if the price of the bicycle is less than the amount stipulated in the Public Call, the customer has the right to use a voucher in the value of the bicycle without the possibility of returning the rest of the money.Support for the purchase of bicycles can only be obtained for the purchase of a new bicycle that is started with pedals or with the help of an electric drive.Interested natural persons can apply for the Public Call from the day of publication of the Public Call until November 15, 2022, i.e. until the intended funds are used up.
