
The Business Institutional Infrastructure Support Program (Program) is implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) in accordance with the RAS Work Program for 2016.Project applicantsThe following are entitled to submit project applications: Clusters, business incubators, science and technology parks, accredited regional development agencies, associations, cooperatives, chambers of commerce, (which can participate independently or in a consortium as a leading partner or partner), as well as scientific research organizations, institutes and faculties (NIO), (which can only participate as a partner within the consortium, therefore they cannot act independently, nor as a leading partner). Each potential user can apply for several projects, independently and/or as a partner within the consortium.Program description and purpose of fundsThrough this program, the Development Agency of Serbia supports the best projects aimed at the development of economic entities based on knowledge, innovation, competitiveness, business association, and which should create a strong, competitive and export-oriented MSME sector and significantly contribute to improving the standard of living in the Republic Serbia.Purpose of grant fundsProject activities that are important for the development of business institutional infrastructure, and which may be subject to co-financing by RAS are:Within Component 1:Development of a joint product and/or development of technological processes and/or procurement of joint equipment and/or infrastructural equipment of joint facilities and optional: establishment of new cooperation mechanisms between MSMEs that contribute to increasing competitivenessCreation of value chains in order to increase the degree of finalization of products with a predominant share of domestic raw materials;Creation of supplier chains in order to establish business cooperation between large customers and MSMEs;Expansion of existing capacities or establishment of new PIs and optional: improvement of the business incubation model;Improvement of infrastructure capacities of existing NTPs and optional: improvement of the support model by NTP;Implementation of NIO research and development results at MSMEs;And other project activities that contribute to the achievement of specific goals.Within Component 2:Development of new and/or improvement of existing User services aimed at improving the competitiveness of MSMEs and entrepreneurs and providing them to end users;Development of innovative support services MSMEs and providing the same to the end to users;Establishing new cooperation mechanisms between MSMEs that contribute to increasing competitiveness;Improving the business incubation model;Improving the support model by NTP;Entrepreneurship promotion activities and examples of good practice;Developing analyzes and conducting research in cooperation with NIO and MSMEs on specific projects with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs.Financial frameworkThe total budget of the Program is 130,000,000 dinars. Available funds are approved per project as co-financing in the amount of up to 50% of justified project costs, excluding VAT. Projects are approved in the range from 500,000 to 5,000,000 dinars. Projects will be approved successively until the funds are used up.How to applyApplications with all accompanying forms and documentation are submitted in person or by registered mail to the Office of the Development Agency of Serbia, at the address Vlajkovićeva no. 3, 11000 Belgrade, with the indication: Application for public call for participation in the Business Institutional Infrastructure Support Program in 2016.Note The public invitation is valid from the day of publication on the RAS website, i.e. from 25.04.2016. year and is open no later than 31.10.2016. year, i.e. until the available funds are used up. The deadline for the completion of activities and the realization of payments in connection with the performed activities by the beneficiaries of the funds is May 1, 2017.
