Public call for grants under the PROGRAM FOR ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROCESSING CAPACITIES IN THE FIELD OF WINE PRODUCTION IN 2025

The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, continues to support the wine sector as one of the important and promising branches of our economy.

Wine production in Serbia has been on the rise in recent years - the number of wineries is growing, quality and exports are increasing, and local wines are increasingly winning awards and international recognition. That is why this year we are implementing a program whose goal is to further strengthen the production and technological capacities of wineries throughout Serbia and encourage their further development. The total available grants for the implementation of the Program amount to 150,000,000.00 dinars.

Business companies and cooperatives registered in the APR no later than December 31, 2023, classified as micro, small or medium-sized legal entities according to the financial statements for 2024, as well as entrepreneurs registered in the same period, can apply for the public call. All users must be registered in the Wine Register, in accordance with the law regulating wine production.

The funds are intended for co-financing investments that are directly related to the wine production process, namely:

• acquisition of new production equipment and machines,
• acquisition of delivery vehicles and other means of transport for own products,
• acquisition of parts and specialized tools that are necessary in the production process,
• procurement of equipment that contributes to energy efficiency and ecological aspects of production,
• operating costs, in the participation of up to 20% of the total investment.

Support is granted in the amount:

• up to 50% of the investment value - basic support,
• up to 55% for beneficiaries from local self-government units of the third and fourth development groups,
• up to 60% if one of the following conditions is met:
  • the founder and legal representative is a woman (minimum 51%) and one of the legal representatives is a woman,
  • the founder and legal representative is a person up to 35 years old (minimum 51%),
  • more than 30% of the income is generated by selling on the foreign market.

The amount of grants per individual project can be at least 250,000 dinars, and at most 5,000,000 dinars.

The remaining part of the investment is financed from own funds or with a loan from the Development Fund, under the following conditions:

• loan amount: to 5,000,000 dinars,
• repayment term: up to 60 months,
• grace period: up to 12 months,
• interest rate: 2.5% with application of the currency clause,
• request processing fee: 0.3%,
• means of security: pledge on the equipment or vehicle being financed, promissory note of the business entity and personal promissory note of the founder.

The request for the allocation of grants is submitted simultaneously with the request for a loan to the Fund, with the submission of a unified form and accompanying documentation that proves the fulfillment of the conditions from the Program.

The public call is open until the funds are spent, and at the latest to 1. June 2026..
