
The Ministry of Economy provides grants to existing and newly established entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and micro-enterprises registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency (hereinafter: SBRA) that operate in less developed municipalities, specifically in local self-government units classified in the third and fourth groups of development and in devastated areas.
A total of 80,000,000.00 RSD in grant funds has been allocated for the implementation of this Program.
Funds allocated under the Program are intended to finance the purchase of:
1. new equipment, machinery/tools, new computer equipment, and software licenses involved in the production process, and
2. raw materials, the procurement costs of which may account for up to 25% of the total investment structure for which Program funds are requested,
3. operating expenses of up to 20% of the investment.
Grants are approved in the amount of 100% of the purchase value stated on the pro-forma invoice, including VAT.
The maximum amount of approved grant assistance cannot exceed 800,000.00 RSD, nor be less than 300,000.00 RSD.
The application, along with the supporting documentation, must be submitted by registered mail or in person in a sealed envelope to the following address: Ministry of Economy, Sector for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurship, Kneza Miloša 20, 11000 Belgrade, with the following text: APPLICATION for the 2026 Support Program for Balanced Economic Development of Serbia “Equal Development Opportunities and Chances for Underdeveloped Regions of Serbia”, with the full name and address of the business entity on the back of the envelope and the note DO NOT OPEN.
The public call is open until September 4, 2026.
