PUBLIC CALL for grant allocation under the PRODUCTION SPACE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM "BUILDING SPACE FOR YOUR GROWTH"

The Ministry of Economy, in cooperation with the Development Fund of the Republic of Serbia, is implementing the "Building Space for Your Growth" support program, based on the Republic of Serbia's strategic commitment to strengthening domestic production and fostering the development of the manufacturing industry as a key driver of national economic growth.

Through the allocation of grants, this program provides businesses with significantly more favorable borrowing terms, facilitates investment in expanding production capacity, and directly reduces financing costs. This systemic support represents a secure step toward strengthening market competitiveness and the long-term sustainable development of the domestic economy.

The total available grant funding for the implementation of the Program is 100,000,000.00 RSD.

The objectives of the Program are focused on:

• expanding production capacity,
• long-term development of production infrastructure,
• increasing competitiveness,
• contributing to sustainable and balanced economic development.

Eligibility for participation:

• micro and small legal entities and cooperatives registered no later than December 31, 2024;
• entrepreneurs registered no later than December 31, 2024.

The funds are intended for co-financing:

• construction, extension, reconstruction, adaptation, rehabilitation, and investment maintenance of production space or business space that is part of the production facility, or space for storing own products, raw materials, and supplies

Business entities can receive grants of up to 30% of the investment value, or up to 40% in local government units classified in the third and fourth groups of development, thereby further supporting less developed areas and creating conditions for stronger local economic momentum.

The remaining part of the investment is provided from own funds or from a Development Fund loan.

The Fund's loan will be approved under the following conditions:

1. loan amount: up to RSD 3,500,000.00;
2. repayment period of up to 60 months, including a grace period of up to 12 months;
3. interest rate: 2.5% per annum with a currency clause;
4. collateral:

• a pledge on existing equipment of equal or greater value,
• a promissory note from the business entity,
• a personal promissory note from the founder. In cases where there are multiple founders, all founders must provide their own blank promissory notes, except for those with less than a 5% ownership stake or those who are foreign individuals or legal entities,
• a contractual guarantee from legal entities and entrepreneurs,
• a contractual guarantee from an individual,

The client may also offer other forms of collateral in accordance with the Fund's Program.

The public call is open until the funds are exhausted, and no later than September 4, 2026.
