Public call for the allocation of grants within the program to support the internationalization of companies, entrepreneurs and clusters

The Development Agency of Serbia announced on 04.27.2016. year Public call for the allocation of grants within the Program to support the internationalization of companies, entrepreneurs and clusters in 2016 (hereinafter: the Program). This program is implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia (hereinafter: RAS) in cooperation with accredited regional development agencies. The funds from the Program are intended to co-finance the costs of service providers for the following activities:New design of products and packaging;Improvement of existing and development of new technological processes;Improvement of existing and development of new products intended for foreign markets;Testing of new products;Participation in international fairs abroad;Examination of foreign market.Note: Large companies and clusters can only apply for two types of activities:Participation in international fairs abroad;Examination of foreign markets.An economic entity or cluster can submit only one request for the allocation of grants.The right to the allocation of funds is granted to micro, small, medium and large enterprises and entrepreneurs, who cumulatively meet the following conditions:that the predominant activity of the business entity is production or processing (fulfilment of this condition will be checked based on the activity code under which the business entity is registered in the APR. Exceptionally, in the event that the predominant code of a business entity refers to activities that are excluded by this program, and the business entity also performs production activities, it is necessary to provide an explanation that shows that the purpose of this program is in accordance with the nature of the additional activity that the business entity also performs, which is not excluded by this program. id="">yes they are established no later than April 25, 2014;that they have been operating successfully for the previous two years;that they have kept business books according to the double-entry bookkeeping system for the previous two years;that they have settled their obligations on the basis of taxes and contributions;that in the previous year and this year they did not use incentive funds from other state institutions and institutions of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on the same basis.The right to the allocation of funds belongs to clusters that cumulatively meet the following conditions:that they are registered in the Register of Associations in accordance with the current Law;that they were founded no later than April 25, 2015;that they have at least 12 active members (at least nine companies and entrepreneurs and three support institutions: holders of innovative activities according to the Law on innovative activity, educational or other institutions);have as members a minimum of 60% of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs and at least one scientific research organization;not be in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings;have settled obligations based on taxes and contributions;that the companies, members of the cluster, participants in the project, are registered on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and are majority domestically privately owned;that they submitted a request with the necessary documentation in accordance with the purpose of the funds;that the companies, members of the cluster, are not in difficulties according to the definition of a business entity in difficulties;that this year they did not use incentive funds from other state institutions and institutions of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on the same basis.The funds cannot be used for programs that are implemented in:military and tobacco industry;trade;primary agricultural production;financial sector;sector of services not subject to international trade;organization of games of chance and lotteries.Funds are allocated in the amount from 50,000.00 to 1,000,000.00 dinars for companies and entrepreneurs, depending on the activity, while for clusters funds are allocated in the amount from 100,000 to 2,000,000.00 dinars. For participation in trade fairs, companies will be awarded funds in the amount of up to 600,000.00 dinars if they have not yet exported, or up to 1,000,000.00 dinars if they are already exporting. Based on the contract with the user of funds, RAS will refund the amount up to 50% of the total amount of justified project costs without VAT. The funds will be refunded to the business entity after the completion of the project and submission of reports and evidence of completed activities.
