
In order to provide support for the establishment and survival of new companies, as well as young entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economy today issued a public invitation to all unemployed persons and businessmen who are in the initial stage of development for the allocation of grants for the purchase of equipment, vehicles, current maintenance / adaptation of business or production space, as well as for operational costs (up to 20% of the total investment). financial support for business beginners and young people in 2024 and is a combination of 30% of grants from the Ministry of Economy and 70% of favorable loans from the Development Fund, i.e. 40% of grants from the Ministry of Economy and 60% of favorable loans from the Development Fund for business entities belonging to local self-government units that are classified in the third or fourth development group in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Regional Development and the Government act establishing a unique list of regional development and local self-government unit valid on the day of submission of the request, and for business entities whose founder is a natural person up to the age of 35, a combination of 40% grants from the Ministry of Economy and 60% favorable loan from the Development Fund, i.e. 50% grants from the Ministry of Economy and 50% favorable loan from the Development Fund for economic entities that belong to local self-government units that are classified in the third or fourth development group in accordance with Article 12 of the Law on Regional Development and the Government act establishing a unique list of regional development and local self-government unit valid on the day of submission of the request. For the implementation of this program, the Ministry of Economy has allocated 100.00 million dinars in grants, while the remaining amount of investment by business entities will be financed from the Fund's loans.
The Ministry of Economy and the Development Fund have been successfully implementing this program since 2016.
The public call is open until the amount of requested grants does not exceed the amount of available funds for the implementation of the Program by 35%, which is the average percentage of rejected. as well as abandoned requests before settlement in previous years, and no later than 31.12.2024. year.
