Public call for grants under the Financial Support Program for the best 35 business ideas of young people under the age of 35

The financial support program for the best 35 business ideas of young people under the age of 35 is implemented by the Ministry of Economy.

Funds for the implementation of this program are provided in the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2025 in the amount of RSD 18,000,000.00 and are intended for the implementation of new business ideas of young people, in accordance with the approved business plan.

The goal of this program is to encourage young people to create their ideas, based on innovations and to realize them with the help of incentives.

The right to submit a request for approval of funds under this program is for individuals or teams, consisting of a minimum of two and a maximum of five members, and that is persons aged between 20 and 35 years, i.e. persons born in the period from 01.01.1989. until 31.12.2005.

Business ideas are evaluated on the basis of the following criteria:

1. The importance of the problem that the business idea should solve, i.e. the contribution of the business idea to the development of the business in question and the market
2. Originality of the idea
3. Potential for application and development
4. Competencies of the team
5. Elaboration of the business idea.

After completing the procedure that carried out by an expert service, the Minister of Economy makes a decision on the selection of business ideas, which receive free professional assistance from Accredited Regional Development Agencies, for the development of a business idea and the creation of a business plan with a project budget. The professional service of the Ministry of Economy evaluates the business plan, based on the following criteria:

1. Quality of implementation of the proposed business idea
2. Rational use of budget funds
3. Sustainability of the project

Users whose business ideas are selected in the competition can exercise the right to grants in the amount of up to RSD 500,000.00.

Applications are submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Application for the Public Call for Participation in the Financial Support Program for the Best 35 Business Ideas of Young People Under 35 - DO NOT OPEN" with the sender's full address on the back of the envelope. Untimely and incomplete applications will not be considered.
